Situation
A request lacks information but does not deserve rejection.
Recommendation
Turn on return-for-revision; the submitter edits and resubmits the same request.
Why
A returned request sits with the submitter (its own bucket, not pending), the revision round increments, and resubmitting never creates a second approval instance.
Steps
- The approver chooses Return with a note.
- The submitter opens and edits it.
- Resubmit.
- The approver continues.
Avoid
- Reject and force a new request.
