“Role required” error on a project
Exception
Situation
An action is refused because a project role is missing.
Recommendation
The PM adds the person to Members with the correct role code (e.g. project_manager).
Why
A role typed as a free label (e.g. “Project lead”) is not recognised as PM; the system reads only role codes.
Steps
- Open the project Members.
- Add or fix the user with the correct role code.
- Retry the action.
Avoid
- Type a free label as the role.
