Cannot deactivate a GL account

Situation
Deactivating the account is refused.
Recommendation
Transfer the balance and deactivate child accounts first.
Why
An account with active children or a non-zero posted balance cannot be deactivated, so reports never lose figures.
Steps
- Check for active child accounts.
- Transfer the balance to zero.
- Deactivate children, then the parent.
Avoid
- Delete an account that still has a balance.
