Situation

Part of pay depends on how much work was completed.

Recommendation

Use the completion_pct variable in the Salary structure formula, sourced from the approved completion evaluation.

Why

completion_pct is just one formula variable like the KPI ones; the company writes its own formula. With an unapproved evaluation, the run is blocked or uses a default depending on configuration.

Steps

1. Turn on completion evaluation.
2. Add completion_pct to the salary formula.
3. Managers approve evaluations for the period.
4. Create the run and check Payroll Inputs.

Avoid

• Use the variable while evaluation mode is off.
