Closing a parent task with open sub-tasks
Exception
Situation
You complete the parent Task and get a prompt or a block.
Recommendation
Close or cancel the sub-tasks first.
Why
By default the system asks for confirmation; if the company flag is on it blocks, so parents are never falsely complete.
Steps
- Open the sub-task list.
- Close or cancel each sub-task.
- Complete the parent Task.
Avoid
- Confirm past the prompt while sub-tasks still have real work.
