Department head cannot approve project time
Exception
Situation
A department head opens staff time on a project but has no approve button.
Recommendation
Let the project PM approve, or add the department head to the project as PM.
Why
Project time is approved only by that project’s PM. A department-head title does not grant it.
Steps
- Check who the project PM is.
- Hand it to the PM.
- Or the PM adds the head to Members with role project_manager.
Avoid
- Grant a system-wide permission just to approve one project.
