Delivery Orders
The Delivery Order is the logistics document — it is what actually moves goods out of the warehouse and off the books.
Create from a confirmed order
From a confirmed Sales Order, click Create Delivery Order. Only product lines are pulled in; service lines are never part of a delivery order by design.
Pick and dispatch
Under Sales → Delivery Orders, open the delivery order, confirm the picked quantities (which may be less than ordered for a partial shipment), and dispatch it.
Stock is decremented on confirmation
Confirming the delivery order posts a goods issue in Inventory: on-hand stock decreases for the shipped items, and — if your chart of accounts and costing method are configured for it — the cost of goods sold is posted to the ledger at the same time.
Reference back to the order
Every delivery order links back to its Sales Order (and forward to any invoice raised from it) through the document chain, so you can always answer “did this order ship, and when?” from either end.
