Recommendation
One summary JE is posted per payroll mapping; voiding the run reverses it.
Why
A single summary entry keeps the ledger tidy and fully reversible when the run is voided.
Steps
- Check the payroll account mapping.
- Approve the payroll run.
- Check the summary JE.
- If wrong: void the run (the JE is reversed).
Avoid
- Edit the payroll JE by hand.
