Quality checks on operations
Operations that are marked as quality checks must pass before the work order can complete.
When to use
Use it on the shop floor when an operation needs inspection before moving on.
Before you start
- Permissions:
manufacturing:readto view results,manufacturing:executeto record a pass or fail. - Toggles: none.
- Page:
/manufacturing/work-orders/[id]/quality.
Steps
Open the quality page
From the work order, open its quality page.
Record the result
For each quality operation, record pass or fail.
Handle a failure
A fail blocks completion. Fix the issue and re-record, and raise a non-conformance in Quality by hand if needed.
Tips & common mistakes
- A failed check does not create a non-conformance report automatically.
- Record results promptly so completion is not blocked at the end of the shift.
