AI conclusion drafting from minutes

Show the “AI: suggest conclusions from minutes” button on meeting pages. AI only returns drafts — users pick which to save. Uses the tenant’s AI quota. Default off.

CodeDefaultSwitch atTurn on first
calendar.ai_minutes_draftingOff/calendar/settings—

How it works

Checked when someone asks AI to suggest conclusions from a meeting’s minutes.

When ON

The “AI: suggest conclusions from minutes” button appears on meetings that have minutes; AI returns draft conclusions and the user picks which to save. Each request uses AI credits.

When OFF

The button is hidden and the API refuses the request.

Screens, documents and reports affected

Meetings → Conclusions section.

Caveats

The button also needs the user to have edit rights on the meeting and personal AI access. AI never saves anything by itself.

Allow external invites

Allow inviting attendees by email who don’t have a platform account.

CodeDefaultSwitch atTurn on first
calendar.external_invites_allowedOn/calendar/settings—

How it works

Checked when an event is created and when its attendee list is changed.

When ON

Attendees can be invited by email address even if they have no account.

When OFF

Saving an event with an email-only attendee is refused; only people with an account can be invited.

Screens, documents and reports affected

Calendar → event attendees; meetings scheduled into the calendar.

Caveats

Turning it off does not remove external attendees already on events. People added as walk-ins when recording meeting attendance are not checked.

Auto-accept attendees

Attendees are auto-accepted instead of pending RSVP — at creation, when added later, and after a time change.

CodeDefaultSwitch atTurn on first
calendar.attendee_auto_acceptOff/calendar/settings—

How it works

Applied when an event is created, when attendees are added, when the event time changes, and when a single occurrence of a recurring event is moved.

When ON

Attendees are marked “accepted” instead of waiting for their reply — including people added later and everyone after a time change.

When OFF

Attendees start as “pending” until they reply; changing the event time asks everyone to confirm again.

Screens, documents and reports affected

Calendar → new event; meetings scheduled into the calendar; attendee status.

Caveats

Attendees who already declined are reset to “accepted” when the event time changes. Turning the switch on does not change attendees already pending on existing events.

Block past-dated events

Prevent creating or scheduling events whose start time is in the past.

CodeDefaultSwitch atTurn on first
calendar.past_event_creation_blockedOff/calendar/settings—

How it works

Checked when an event is created or its time is changed, including editing a single occurrence of a recurring event.

When ON

An event whose start time is earlier than now cannot be created or moved there.

When OFF

Back-dated events are allowed, for example to log a meeting that already happened.

Screens, documents and reports affected

Calendar → new / edit event; meetings scheduled into the calendar; events created automatically by other apps.

Caveats

Only applies to events people create or move themselves. Events other apps create automatically — an approved leave starting today or earlier, project milestones, tickets, field service jobs, coaching and 1:1 sessions — are still added to the calendar.

Conflict detection

Block creating an event that overlaps another event you organize.

CodeDefaultSwitch atTurn on first
calendar.conflict_detectionOff/calendar/settings—

How it works

Checked when an event is created or its time is changed, including editing a single occurrence of a recurring event.

When ON

An event that overlaps another non-cancelled timed event organized by the same person is refused.

When OFF

Overlapping events are allowed.

Screens, documents and reports affected

Calendar → new / edit event; meetings scheduled into the calendar; events created from leave, projects, tickets, field service and coaching.

Caveats

Only the organizer’s own events are compared — attendees’ calendars are not checked. All-day events and reminders never count as conflicts. Events other apps create automatically (approved leave, project milestones, tickets, field service jobs, coaching and 1:1 sessions) are not checked.
