Situation

The customer buys equipment and needs it installed.

Recommendation

Mixed Quotation → Sales Order; deliver with a Delivery Order; if installation needs technician scheduling, create a separate Service Order.

Why

Goods follow the sales chain; installation with technician scheduling follows the service chain. Each Quotation line converts only once.

Steps

1. Create a Quotation with equipment and installation.
2. Convert to a Sales Order.
3. Deliver the equipment with a Delivery Order.
4. If a technician schedule is needed, create a separate Service Order for installation.

Avoid

• Convert the same Quotation line twice.
