Price lists

Price lists make sure each distributor buys at its agreed tier and terms. Go to Distribution → Price Lists to manage price lists and lines, with CSV import/export.

In development: there is no screen to create distribution orders yet. The Distribution Orders page currently lists van sales sessions.

When to use

Use this when you set channel pricing for a new distributor, load a seasonal price update in bulk, or export prices for review.

Before you start

Permissions: price_lists:read to view and export, price_lists:write to create, edit, and import lines.
Toggles: none for this app.
For CSV import, prepare one row per product line with the price.

Steps

Create the price list

In Distribution → Price Lists, create a new price list with a name.

Add or replace lines

Open the price list and add lines for each product, or replace the whole set of lines in one save.

Import from CSV

Use the CSV import to load many lines at once. Rows with problems are reported back so you can fix them and import again.

Export to review

Export the lines to CSV to check them offline or share them.

Tips & common mistakes

Edit lines on the price list detail page, not on the list page.
Fix the rows reported by the import and re-import rather than editing the file blindly.
A price list does nothing until it is assigned to a distributor.
Distribution does not create orders, so the price list is a reference for pricing; invoicing happens in Sales.
