Management & review
| Setting | When on | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Advanced task management | Strict status matrix, reasons on status changes, review workflow | Off (new companies: On) |
| Allow self-approval | The assignee may approve their own task | Off |
| Designated reviewer only | Only the reviewer set on the task may approve | Off |
| Review scores feed KPIs | Review scores become KPI data in Performance | Off (new companies: On) |
| Scoring criteria | Name, weight and on/off per criterion (1–5 scale, total 100) | Quality 35 · Volume 25 · Timeliness 25 · Effort 15 |
Assignee
| Setting | Meaning | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Assignee required outside Backlog | Only Backlog / Cancelled tasks may have no assignee | On |
| Assignee always required | Stricter: every status except Cancelled | Off |
| Capacity check when assigning | Off · Show · Warn when over capacity | Show |
| Co-assignee estimate split | Per person · Split evenly | Per person |
Dependencies
| Setting | Meaning | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Start policy when blocked | Off · Warn · Block | Warn |
| Allow cross-project dependencies | Link tasks across projects | Off |
| Reschedule dependents | Ask · Automatic · Off | Ask |
Turning dependencies off keeps existing links untouched; existing cross-project links are marked “outside policy” (dashed) but still constrain.
Subtasks
| Setting | Meaning | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Inherit defaults from parent | Blank fields are taken from the parent | On |
| Subtask dates within parent | Off · Warn · Block | Warn |
| Parent progress | Manual · Rollup by subtask hours · Rollup by completed subtasks | Manual |
| Auto-start parent | The parent moves to In Progress when its first subtask starts | On |
Priority score
| Setting | Meaning | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Impact · Urgency · Effort priority score | Computes a 0–100 score per task from impact, urgency and effort (1–5 scale). Manual values beat inferred ones; the custom formula is versioned | Off (requires advanced management) |
Scores are recalculated when a task changes and refreshed hourly. Tasks lacking data show “not enough data” rather than a score of 0.
Data scope
The Data scope section sets whether each role sees tasks that are their own / their team’s / company-wide. It applies to lists, board, calendar, stats and reports.
Some of these settings also appear under General Settings → Features. It is the same switch — changing it in either place has the same effect.
