Situation

The customer accepts the Quotation.

Recommendation

Convert to a Sales Order (goods) or Service Order (services) — buttons follow the line mix.

Why

The target document is the single creator from the source, so all fields (UOM, tax, project, customer) inherit correctly. Exceeding quoted quantity asks for confirmation but never raises the counter beyond the quote. No quotes for a lost Deal.

Steps

Open the Accepted Quotation.
Choose the next-document button (per line mix).
Select lines or leave empty for all remaining.
Confirm the Sales Order.

Avoid

Create a Sales Order by hand and copy lines.
