Retail and F&B: counter, menu and kitchen

Who this is for

Store managers, cashiers and restaurant or café operators. Both POS and F&B are beta.

The problem

Small stores run retail software apart from stock and accounts, and small restaurants keep menus, recipes and loyalty points in notebooks or several apps.

Open a session at the counter (beta)

The cashier opens a session, sells by barcode, applies promotions and takes cash or QR payment. — POS (beta)

Reconcile at close (beta)

Cash is reconciled at the end of the session; stock and ledger update automatically. — POS (beta)

Build the menu and recipes (beta)

F&B holds the menu by category and recipes with ingredient quantities. — F&B — Menu & recipes (beta)

Run the kitchen and loyalty (beta)

Kitchen stations show orders and statuses, and the loyalty programme tracks points and member tiers. — F&B (beta)

Check stock

Inventory is the stock ledger the counter sells from. — Inventory

Close the books

Accounting receives the sales entries and retail VAT. — Accounting

AI assistants that help

  • pos_manager: Four insights: store comparison, daily reconciliation, loss detection and peak-hour staffing; no action skills yet.
  • fnb_ops: Two insights: kitchen throughput and waste reduction; no action skills yet.

Honest limits

  • POS is beta. It has no offline mode, MoMo is not supported, and QR works only when VNPay or ZaloPay is configured.
  • POS e-invoices depend on the tenant’s e-invoice integration; without a provider the app reports it as not configured.
  • F&B is beta with low-to-medium completeness. Kitchen and online order screens show preloaded data and status changes only; there is no path to create these orders, the Reports page has no data, and delivery channels are declared but not synced.
  • Recipes are quantity documents and do not yet deduct ingredient stock; F&B is not connected to POS, Inventory or Accounting.
