Quality Inspector
The Quality Inspector is the manufacturing-domain Assistant for quality and production. It analyzes non-conformance reports (NCRs), tracks inspection pass rates and SPC limits, and helps plan production capacity and material supply.

What it does
Quality Inspector keeps quality high and production flowing. It analyzes NCR trends, escalates serious non-conformances, and breaks down defects by type and source. It monitors inspection pass rates and watches SPC control limits so drift is caught early.
On the production side, it analyzes BOM cost, predicts material shortages, plans production capacity, and monitors work-order delays. It also tracks supplier quality audits.
Escalations and actions are proposed as Suggestions for human approval.

Triggers & schedule
Skills run on daily crons across NCRs, inspections, and work orders. NCR- and work-order-scoped skills can be run manually from a record’s detail page. All runs are notify-first — the Assistant emits Suggestions for human approval.
Actions & approvals
Actions appear in the Suggestions queue with Approve / Dismiss controls. Examples:
- Escalate NCR on a serious non-conformance.
- Flag material shortage ahead of a production run.
- Flag work order delay on an at-risk order.
Where to find it
Open Automation → Agents and filter by the Manufacturing domain, or use the AI Hub in the Manufacturing app. On an NCR or work-order detail page, the entity-scoped panel runs Quality Inspector against that record.
